The 40th Anniversary Historical Album Project to release The Greeks of the Niagara
Region in June 2010.

The Greek Community of Niagara is pleased to announce an important initiative celebrating its historical
and cultural achievements covering the past four decades. The "40th Anniversary Historical Album Project"
has been established to preserve and commemorate the efforts of individuals, past & present, as well as
record landmark highlights for future generations. A general overview will be included in the final
product centered on the early pioneers who immigrated to the area from Greece in the beginning of the
1900's and 1950's respectively. The Special Project Committee intends to publish its research in the
form of a book to be entitled, The Greeks of the Niagara Region, which is scheduled for release in
June 2010.
This project was made possible by the generous financial support from the following funding partners:
the City of St. Catharines through the Cultural Investment Program (SCCIP) and the Hellenic Heritage
Foundation.
